At Renew, we believe nutrition is about more than macros, making gains, and goal weights. We believe food is fuel, and that nutrition is the foundation for fitness and wellness.
Open up a new tab in your favorite browser. Type “healthy diet” and, just for giggles, hit enter. Pages upon pages of articles claiming to be the best, or the fastest, or the latest and most researched diet inundate your screen. Whole30? Keto? Intermittent Fasting? IIFYM? With so much information out there, it can be hard to know what’s actually “healthy” and right for you and your goals. That’s why we called our program “Refuel” -- because maybe we’ve been spending the bulk of our life eating one certain way because it’s what we thought was best according to that one article that one time and because, well, it didn’t not work. But we want to retrain your brains, remove predispositions, and refuel your bodies in such a way that’s attainable and sustainable.
So whether you’re an experienced athlete looking for sports nutrition guidance, new to CrossFit and just want to understand how to eat better, or someone who’s been doing the diet dance for years to no avail -- let’s chat.
The Phase 1 program is designed to help those of us who may need help getting an objective understanding of our nutrition, assessing needs, and identifying goals and dialing in our areas that we feel could use some help. During your initial month, we will work with you to help you understand how your body responses to food, offer practical steps to change your diet, and provide you with the accountability help implement these changes. Most people will start with Phase 1.

Our Phase 2 program is designed for folks who may already have a good understanding of their nutrition (or just finished Phase 1) and are looking for ongoing coaching support. This program is ideal for those of us who may need extra guidance and help establishing and maintaining healthy and sustainable habits for the long haul.

Howdy, I’m Sadie. A CrossFit Level 2 trainer slash digital marketing professional and breakfast food enthusiast. My nutrition journey is, sadly, nothing out of the ordinary. You know, one that’s got a checkered past of disordered eating, a diagnosed autoimmune disease, and an ongoing redemption plot still unfolding. I wanted to help launch Refuel because I believe all of those pithy sayings:
“Food is medicine.”
“I’d rather take vitamins now than drugs later!”
I believe them because I’m living it. It’s so very corny, but I love corn dogs. So. I know there is so much to learn about food as it pertains to fitness and wellness, and I am pumped to be a person that gets to help other humans learn, too. Work with me, and you’ll get a no-bullshit-approach to food, backed by research, with a sprinkling of sarcasm, and individualized plans to help you reach your health and fitness goals -- whatever they may be.
